Hi Paul,
I’ve just activated my TurboCAD Pro 14 which I won in a raffle would you believe a couple of years ago. I’ve used AutoCAD LT and Solid Works in the past but I’m keen to move to TurboCAD. I’ve just taken on my son part-time and he has never used CAD of any kind and I’m looking at some training and was wondering what you would suggest for us both. I’m 58 and my son is 31, I was brought up on the drawing board and have moved to CAD in the last 2-years (self taught to a large extent) I struggle with all the functionality in particular view ports. my son is a complete novice, bur very clever and has never worked in an architectural background, I’m planning to teach him all I know in his spare time. Sorry I’ve waffled on but I wanted you to understand at what point we are at currently.

Viewports I can explain in a few minutes.
I always suggest that you look at some of my getting started films on youtube, search for paulthecadtracey.
At the same time buy a 2D training book, these are excellent and also contain training films. When you are starting to get the idea, book on a training day, buy the end of that you will be well away.
