I’ve come across a site with some great training films for woodworkers using SketchUp. These are really good easy to follow films by Rob Cameron, these would be of use to not only carpenters, but also kitchen and interior designers of all varieties. Searching for Rob and woodworkers comes up with lots of interesting sites.

For the more traditional CAD based designers in this field I’ve made three or four training films posted on youtube using TurboCAD showing the basics of drawing in 3D. Just search for my films on youtube by typing in paulthecadtracey.
