A Free Training Day
This is a one day course free to those involved in the world of stage design, either professionally or in Am Dram.
It will not turn anyone into an expert, but will demonstrate in a ‘hands on’ way how the combination of these two packages can speed up the creative process allowing multiple changes in design to be played around with quickly and easily.
It is essential that participants have some basic understanding of both packages either by having gone through some of the free internet training, or having bought TurboCAD training materials.
Numbers limited to six. In the morning we will go though the basics of both TurboCAD and Google SketchUp creating simple 3D shapes and integrating SketchUp into TurboCAD. Lunch will be provided free and in the afternoon we will progress to designing a simple stage set starting off using Google SketchUp and then importing the design into TurboCAD.
Thursday, November 18th 2010. Starting at 10am, the day will finish at 6pm.
