Peter has designed for both the Chelsea and Furure Gardens shows as well as being a past chairman of the SGD. Peters CAD drawings and illustrations are widely published including in the Encyclopedia of Garden Design.

“I design landscapes and gardens for private and commercial clients both here in the UK and abroad. I have been using a pc with appropriate software for all my design and illustration work since 1998. I use TurboCAD for garden designs together with photoshop to create the level of presentation I am after. Some of my plans are shown below. Most of my garden design work can be seen on my website at www.ptadesign.com 

I have also done various illustration work for published books, amongst which are ‘Landscape Detailing’ by Michael Littlewood, ‘Natural Swimming Pools’ also by Michael Littlewood, and the soon to be released ‘Encyclopaedia of Garden Design’ published by DK Publishing on behalf of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

I have lectured on Digital Publishing (photoshop), Web Animation (flash) and Web Design (dreamweaver) at undergraduate level for the University of Hertfordshire. I have also lectured on CAD in Garden Design at Capel Manor College and Garden Design at Writtle College.

I am available for personal training in the use of TurboCAD (my favourite CAD tool) or any of the above.”
